Well, here's my new look for Ansatsu. Originally, he looked like this, too much like Hanzo off 'Samurai Showdown', so I decided to change his look a lil'.

The part I changed the most was his mask design, trying not to make it look too traditional and more like it was influenced by different cultures pretaining to the ninja. I changed the crest on his head, and hopefully it doesn't look like a cheap rip-off of Ryu Hayabusa from 'Ninja Gaiden,' heheh. I tried to make the new crest look like fire in a way, because fire is Ansatsu's elemental specialty. Oh yeah, I'm still deciding on the color scheme, heheh. Check that out here. Also, if you haven't noticed, there's a mistake that defies physics, heheh. You can see his mask and scarf/cape flowing in the wind, yet his belt is not... Oh well... Let me know what you think, aight?

If you're interested, take a look at my 'Ninja Concept: Characters' in my scrap section to see the original designs that I had made before.

Name:
Ansatsu

Weapon:
Basic Japanese katana

Element Specialty:
Fire

Background Info:
Ansatsu is mysterious shadow without a true name. As an infant, he was found abandoned in the woods with a letter stating that whoever finds him, to raise him up however they wish. Master Hiroshi, a traveling monk and master of ninjutsu arts was the one who found him and raised him, teaching him the many ways of the ninja. Though living his life within the confines of his founder's village, he still lived with a mysterious presence. Even his fellow students, living along side him, don't know him well. He feels he has no history, no origin, and so he is a true shadow. As time goes on, he is given the name 'Ansatsu,' the assassin. He trains often to perfect his skills in every way, and never gives up. He looks up to Master Hiroshi, his mentor and father figure, and respects him deeply. After his village was burned to the ground and his master murdered by an unknown enemy, he vowed to avenge the deaths of the innocent and set off to find the source of the massacre.

wow, that is great :) well done
Damn you shade well. The sword is perfect! (and heck, not just the sword!)
Heheh. Thanx for the comment (^-^)! Honestly, I think I have to practice a lil' more on shading, though.
"I have to practice a little more on shading"??! Is it possible to shade better than that? :)

Great job on remaking Ansatsu's outfit! Now he looks even better than before, and that mask is absolutely gorgeous. ^_^ Mmm-mm, that's the way (aha aha) I like it (aha aha). *Slaps her head* Man I often start to think all kinds of stupid songs when I comment...

But yea, magnificent design. He couldn't look any better. ^_^
Thanx (^-^)! Yea, I do need to practice on shading, at least that's what I think anyway, heheh. Actually more on color than anything... Sometimes I get random songs stuck in my head as well, so don't worry, you're not alone. Actually, right now I have a song with the line "Istanbul, old Constantinople..." stuck in my head because of a history paper I was previously workin on, heheh.

Hopefully this design can be carried on. I really like the new design too, because it's not the same as Hanzo's.
very nice :D

Thanx (^-^)! Hey, since he's one of the main characters, he's gotta have a good story attatched to him, heheh.
