'Tenchu: Return from Darkness' (XBox) now Super Deformed! Gift for all you 'Tenchu' fans out there!
Heheh, I had to chibi-tize these guys. This was used for my submission for the August calendar wallpaper for Tenchu Checkpoint.
The calendar, I'm hoping, will be posted in the 2006 calendar section of the Tenchu Checkpoint, whenever it is updated. So you download the full-sized wallpaper whenever it comes up!
This wasn't my original picture I intended to be the August calendar wallpaper, but since I finished this one first, I decided to make this one the August wallpaper before I run out of August time, heheh. My original picture, whenever I'm done coloring it, will either be another month or just a regular fanart submission.
I tired to practice the lineart the most on this picture, even though I labeled it digital art for the coloring... Drawn with mechanical pencil, inked with black ball-point pen, and colored and edited on Photoshop CS.
For those who don't know, characters are as follows (from left to right, top to bottom--I apologize if they are aligned wrong, heheh.):
- Ganda
- Tesshu
- Tenrai
- Jinnai
- Maihime and Dr. Kimaira
- Tajima
- Kagura
- Enemy ninja
- Tatsumaru
- Mifuyu
- Onikage
- Rin (She's not on RFD, but she falls somewhere before that storyline)
- Semimaru (The ninja dog!)
- Rikimaru
- Ayame
- Kiku (-hime)
Wow, I don't think I've drawn so many characters on one page before... I should do another one with my original characters sometime...

I'm really loving this groupshot of characters that feature in one of my all time favourite vidogame franchises. The first game, "Tenchu Stealth Assasins" is my favourite game in the series 
If somehow the Tenchu series were to vanish from the earth, there would be a gap in the gaming industry. I mean, how many ninja stealth simulators are there? Non as far as I know. If there are plans for a next gen release, I'll be looking forward to it. Tenchu z was okay, but it was a disappointing effort in the series really.
